PayLens (paylens.uk) is a free UK salary calculator. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we operate.

We collect minimal data:

• Calculator inputs: Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) to remember your settings. Never sent to our servers.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage data via Google Analytics (page views, device type, country). No personal identifiers.
• Advertising: If you accept personalized ads, third-party ad networks may collect data for targeting. See "Advertising" below.

We use cookies for:

• Essential: Remembering your consent choice and theme preference.
• Analytics: Google Analytics cookies to understand site usage.
• Advertising: If you accept, ad networks set cookies for personalized ads. If you decline, only contextual (non-personalized) ads are shown.

We display ads to keep PayLens free. You have two choices:

Either way, ads are displayed. The difference is whether they are targeted to you personally.

Since we store calculator data locally in your browser, you can delete it anytime via browser settings. For other requests, contact us below.

Calculator settings in localStorage persist until you clear browser data. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default settings.

PayLens is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
